What Is a Home Energy Assessment?
Think of it like a medical check-up for your house.
A Home Energy Assessment (HEA) is a complete evaluation of how your home uses and loses energy. It helps uncover hidden inefficiencies that drive up your bills and reduce comfort.
When you schedule your no cost assessment, here’s what happens:
We schedule a time that works for you.
I come to your home for about 45 minutes to an hour.
I’ll ask a few questions about your home, then inspect the inside and outside — including your attic, crawl space, ducts, heating/cooling systems, and insulation.
We’ll go over what I find and talk about what kinds of upgrades might make sense and qualify you for cash incentives.
If you’re interested in making improvements, I’ll connect you with an Energy Trust-approved contractor who can do the work and help you access available rebates and cash incentives.
It’s quick, easy, and can reveal opportunities to save hundreds of dollars each year — while making your home feel warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
It is also good to just learn about what's going on in your home.
